There is so much exciting happening at Keep Me In Stitches, we wanted to put it all in a blog for you!
We have many new things in our stores from beautiful new Christmas Fabrics (Yes! Christmas already) in the Carrollwood store to a completely new selection of Art Gallery knits in our Largo store. Garment sewers beware – they are gorgeous and addicting!
With the closing of Hancock’s in the south Tampa market we have added a new section of zippers, elastic, velco, closures, hand sewing needles and more to the south Tampa store. Those are just a few of the items many of our customers often purchased from Hancock’s. We are so sad to see them close as they were a wonderful part of helping to keep the world inspired to sew.
We have been busy preparing for our 16th year anniversary celebration the week of June 6th – 11th. We’ve chosen a 70’s theme for the week just to encourage everyone to “boogie on down” with us! We’ll have the disco music playing and we’ve added some 70’s themed classes.
You can register on-line for these – just check the class calendar on our website.
We’ll also have a floor model sale in ALL stores so if you’re looking for a great price on a BabyLock, Bernina or Janome – this is the week to buy! We will also have special introductory pricing and demonstrations on the new BabyLock Coronet quilting machine and the Janome MC 9400 quilting machine.
All of the stores will have trunk shows and new products from talented artists and companies like:
- Elizabeth Hartman
- Renaissance Ribbons
- Anita Goodesign
- Art Gallery Knits
The following Saturday, June 18th, we will be hosting an Etsy Craft Party in ALL of our stores from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We want to reach out to those crafty friends of ours who have never seen all of the amazing things you can do with a sewing machine – just another tool of the crafting trade! Each participant will be registered to win a drawing for an Accuquilt Go! Cutter. So please help us by encouraging those creative friends of yours to join us and see what all of the fun is about! They can either drop in or schedule an appointment by calling the store of their choice.
Then June 21st kicks off the national shop hop, Row By Row and all three of our stores are participating! The theme this year is “Home Sweet Home” and our own Allen Smith has created unique and beautiful rows for each of our stores. However, they are truly unique as when all three are put together, they combine to make one quilted image!! You’ll have to wait until June 21st to see what he’s created!
And of course, with the theme being “Home Sweet Home” this year, we wanted to donate $1.00 from every row that we sell to go to Metropolitan Ministries to help those who may not have a home…..
We hope to see you in the stores soon!
